I guess it is easy enough to measure almost any personal injustice. It could be leveled by the man behind a store counter, the person in the other car, a waiter, an ex-lover,a sister, brother, son, daughter, mother, father, or any other person or instance that we can justifiably celebrate as a violation.

Someone cut me off in traffic today and my first thought was...That bastard! A few minutes later, I felt stupid.

I forever need to remind myself to let go of these things, as the real harm here is what anger does to the shape of the chest. I think one of the best ways to recognize strength is found in the way we react to what is taken from us. Of course, the nourishment of discontent is a viable form of sustenance, but it is often food that is on the shelf way past the "Sell by" date.
