There's a commercial on television for a household product called Glade Sense and Spray. It's an air-freshener that spits 'freshness' when it senses movement in the room. Truthfully, I am much more intrigued by the mechanism than I am by its purpose. It seems so unnecessary in the average home environment and I wonder if it is even such a great idea to repeatedly inhale these fragrances along with isobutane, propane, acetone, isoalkane (propellants and carriers). Of course, maybe my house really does smell like grandma's and I'm simply now immune to its unpleasant olfactory influence.

I would hope if I ever die in some tragedy like a bicycle, tractor or car accident, that no one decides to put up a memorial near the spot where my life ended. I see many of these along roads and highways in the form of crosses or wreaths and they are usually adorned with artificial flowers in odd colors that have no identifiable analogue in nature. I don't know, I just prefer to remember people I've lost in a different way and maybe in or around places where they had once flourished.
