Yesterday I did a little cross-country skiing behind the house. I enjoy it immensely, but realize my control of balance for such a thing is terrible. I occasionally do well on level and on mild uphill treks, but even on a very slight down grade I am afraid petrified and completely unsteady.
In yoga, I struggle with the balance poses as well.
I know that balance requires a healthy, skilled blend of mind and body and that is exactly why I should do these.
